Nazaire & Co. is one of the subsidiaries of the parent company Nazaire Group. In addition to the Long Island-based accounting and consulting firm, it also houses businesses operating within various industries that include IT management, tax preparation, payroll, and digital marketing, just to name a few. Nazaire & CO. along with all of Nazaire Group’s other businesses share a similar goal: to assist small to medium sized businesses in their day to day operations. Despite Nazaire Group being a parent company established in 2011, its conception began with the formation of Nazaire & Co. in 1997. However, the history of both businesses goes back much farther than this. Nazaire Group founder J Ronald Nazaire discovered his leadership ability and skills in financial management while enrolled at the New York Institute of Technology. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, he went on pursue his MBA with a focus in taxation.
The true creation of the Nazaire Group brand began in 1997 when Ronald Nazaire decided to leave to his accounting position in order to branch and establish Nazaire & Co in the heart of Brooklyn. The success of Nazaire & Co. quickly increased, leading to two more offices in Manhattan and Garden City, Long Island, as well as a vast list of clients.
Once Nazaire & Co. was well off the ground, Ronald Nazaire saw that his target market, small to medium sized business owners, needed more than just accounting and consulting services. It was at this point when he began to expand into other avenues as means to meet the needs of his clients while simultaneously attracting some new ones. This includes establishing the IT management company PowerWiz, the tax preparation firm Tax Experts, the payroll bureau Nazpay, and the digital marketing agency Target Points.
While each of these companies operates autonomously, there was one thing that would allow them to share resources and refer clients if they ever required services outside of what they could provide: consolidation. In 2011, Ronald Nazaire decided to bring all of his businesses under one umbrella and Nazaire Group was born.
